Intermediate English for Work and International Communication

About this course

Leading an Erasmus+ project, joining international meetings or presenting your school to foreign partners takes more than basic English. This Erasmus+ KA1 course is for teachers, coordinators, school leaders, and administrative and support staff who can manage everyday English but want to communicate more fluently and professionally in international projects.

Over five days, you will practise the English of international cooperation: talking about your job, school and projects; giving opinions, asking questions and checking understanding in meetings; running phone and video calls; writing clear, effective emails; and giving a short presentation about your school or project. Role-plays, pair work and realistic project scenarios help you build confidence step by step. You will also work on pronunciation, listening and strategies for understanding speakers with different English accents, an essential skill when working with partners from across Europe.

By the end of this professional development course, you will have a personal set of useful phrases for project work, a short presentation about your job and a self-study plan to keep developing your professional English.
