Southern Spain Gastronomy and Tourism is a practical and cultural course exploring the rich gastronomic heritage of Southern Spain and its connection to tourism, local identity and sustainable development. Participants discover traditional products, culinary practices and food-related experiences that contribute to the region’s tourism offer.
The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical workshops, including olive oil production and tasting, Iberian ham cutting and tasting, and the exploration of traditional food products and their cultural significance. Participants also examine how gastronomy can be used to create authentic tourism experiences, promote local culture and support regional economies.
The course is designed to encourage intercultural learning, practical participation and the exchange of experiences between participants.
