Description
This mobility programme promotes inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunities through non-formal learning and intercultural exchange. Adult learners will explore social inclusion challenges, share personal experiences, and learn about good practices that support equal participation in education, work, and community life. The programme encourages empathy, active citizenship, and cooperation across different cultural and social backgrounds.
Participants will develop:
- Awareness and understanding of inclusion, diversity, and equality principles.
- Intercultural communication and empathy towards different social and cultural backgrounds.
- Social and civic competences related to active participation and community engagement.
- Critical thinking on stereotypes, discrimination, and barriers to inclusion.
- Teamwork and cooperation skills in diverse groups.
- Confidence in sharing personal experiences and perspectives.
- The ability to promote inclusive practices within their organisations and communities.
The programme is based on non-formal education, peer learning, and experiential learning. Participants engage in interactive workshops, group discussions, organisation visits, collaborative activities, storytelling, and reflection sessions. The methodology promotes active participation, intercultural dialogue, mutual respect, and learning by doing in a safe and inclusive environment where all voices are valued.
Participants will:
- Increase their awareness of inclusion and diversity issues in European societies.
- Strengthen their intercultural understanding and respect for differences.
- Exchange good practices on promoting equality and inclusion.
- Improve communication, cooperation, and social participation skills.
- Develop new ideas for inclusive activities in their organisations and communities.
- Build international networks that support future cooperation.
- Transfer knowledge and experiences gained during the mobility to promote inclusion and diversity locally.
