Description
Artificial intelligence is changing the way we prepare lessons, create materials, assess learning and manage everyday tasks. Used well, it can save hours of work and open new creative possibilities; used without care, it can raise problems of accuracy, fairness and privacy. This course gives you a practical, balanced introduction to using AI in your daily teaching. It is designed for school teachers, trainers and academic staff.
You will combine short theoretical input with plenty of hands-on practice. You will learn how to use AI tools to design creative lessons, create teaching materials and resources, prepare assessment tasks and give feedback more efficiently, and simplify administrative work such as planning, emails and reports. You will also explore how AI can help keep students engaged and how to prepare your classroom for a future where AI is part of everyday life. Throughout the course, you will reflect on the ethical use of AI, including accuracy, bias, academic integrity and data protection, so you can use these tools responsibly and teach students to do the same.
By the end of the course, you will have a portfolio of AI-supported resources ready to use and the confidence to integrate AI into your teaching in a practical and responsible way.
