This 5-day experiential course combines mindfulness practices for stress management and emotional wellbeing with immersive cultural heritage experiences. The first three days focus on mindfulness techniques, outdoor activities, and emotional self-awareness, allowing participants to develop practical tools for stress reduction and mental clarity. The last two days are fully dedicated to exploring cultural heritage, including visits to local sites, hands-on learning experiences, and culinary discovery, offering participants a deeper understanding of regional traditions and practices.
The course is designed to be practical, active, and experiential, allowing participants to learn through movement, observation, and direct engagement with their environment rather than through theoretical sessions.
Participants will develop competencies in:
Mindfulness and Emotional Regulation: Applying techniques such as body scanning, breathing exercises, walking meditation, and mindful reflection
Stress Management: Recognizing stress triggers, implementing practical stress reduction strategies, and maintaining emotional balance
Observation and Awareness: Enhancing attention to environment, sensations, and cultural details
Cultural Competence: Understanding regional heritage, culinary traditions, and local cultural practices
Practical Learning and Experiential Skills: Learning through direct experience, exploration, and active participation in cultural and wellness activities
The course uses an experiential and practical approach, allowing participants to learn through direct engagement with mindfulness practices and cultural heritage. Activities take place primarily outdoors, including nature walks, mindful movement, yoga, and sensory observation, to foster stress reduction, emotional awareness, and connection with the environment. Cultural heritage is explored through visits to local sites, interaction with traditions, and hands-on experiences, including culinary discovery. Reflection and integration are encouraged throughout, enabling participants to apply mindfulness techniques and cultural insights to both personal and professional contexts. This approach ensures learning is active, immersive, and immediately applicable, rather than theoretical.
By the end of the course, participants will:
Have developed practical mindfulness and stress management skills applicable to everyday life
Be able to use breathwork, body awareness, and sensory observation to reduce stress and enhance emotional balance
Have strengthened their connection to nature and their own mental and physical wellbeing
Gain knowledge and experience of local cultural heritage, traditions, and culinary practices
