In the technology era, apart from putting digital boards the classroom, uploading documents into a website, and browsing for some information, technology hasn“t deeply transformed education yet. A lot can be achieved only by taking advantage of the devices that the students already carry with them and have at home.
The scope of this course will cover all the stages creating a Digital Classroom, from research to assessment, in order to facilitate the teacher’s job.

COURSE OVERVIEW
- Integrate digital tools and students' own devices into everyday teaching in a meaningful and organised way.
- Evaluate the learning value, safety and suitability of digital tools before using them with students.
- Guide students to research, collaborate, create and present their work digitally with growing autonomy.
- Share digital classroom practices with colleagues at their school.
- Plan digital projects that cover every stage, from research to assessment.
- Use students' mobile phones, tablets and laptops for learning activities safely and effectively.
- Choose and use simple digital tools for research, collaboration, creation and presentation.
- Organise digital tasks and give feedback on student work online.
- Create assessment tools, such as digital rubrics and self-assessment, for digital projects.
- Understand how technology can transform teaching and learning beyond digital boards and online documents.
- Identify the stages of a digital project, from research and planning to presentation and assessment.
- Recognise the opportunities and risks of using students' own devices in the classroom.
- Explain the basic rules for safe and responsible use of digital tools with students.
