Description

Every classroom brings together students with very different abilities, backgrounds and needs, including gifted students who need more challenge to stay motivated and keep growing. Too often, these students are overlooked because they seem to be doing well. This course gives you practical tools and techniques to create an inclusive classroom where every learner, from those who need extra support to those who need extra challenge, can progress and succeed.

You will explore the key ideas of inclusive education, with a special focus on the needs of gifted students and other diverse learners. You will learn how to identify gifted and talented students, understand their academic, social and emotional needs, and plan effective differentiation strategies such as enrichment, extension tasks and flexible grouping. You will also discover assessment methods that show each student's real progress and ways to build a supportive school culture that values every learner. Through interactive workshops, group discussions and examples from the Spanish education system, you will compare approaches and develop your own plan to make your classroom more inclusive.

By the end of the course, you will have a practical action plan and a set of strategies that promote equity and success for all students.
