This course is designed for teachers, school staff, educators, and professionals working in education who wish to strengthen communication, improve relationships with families, and create a more supportive and collaborative school environment. The programme focuses on practical strategies for conflict resolution, mediation techniques, emotional communication, and effective family involvement in educational processes.
During childhood and adolescence, parents and teachers are two of the most influential figures in a student’s educational journey. They not only teach and guide young people, but also inspire them, support their emotional development, and contribute to shaping their identity and future. Because of this, strong cooperation between schools and families is essential for creating safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environments where students feel understood, supported, and encouraged to grow.
The course explores how schools can build a true partnership between teachers and parents — a “dream team” working together for the wellbeing and success of children and teenagers. Participants will reflect on common communication challenges, misunderstandings, and conflicts that may arise between schools and families, while learning practical mediation and communication tools to address these situations constructively and respectfully.
The course is based on an interactive, practical, and participant-centred methodology. Participants will actively engage in collaborative learning experiences focused on real educational situations and challenges.
