Creative and Critical Mind is a practical, interactive course that gives educators effective tools to develop their students’ creative and critical thinking skills. Moving beyond memorisation, participants explore approaches that encourage learners to ask better questions, challenge assumptions, generate ideas, analyse information, evaluate different perspectives and design innovative solutions.
Through hands-on activities, collaborative exercises and real classroom examples, educators experience a range of thinking techniques, such as questioning strategies, brainstorming and idea generation, thinking routines, problem-solving and debate, that can be adapted to any subject, age group or learning context. The course also focuses on building a classroom culture where students feel confident to share ideas, make mistakes, explore alternatives and take ownership of their learning.
Participants leave with a practical toolkit of creative and critical thinking strategies ready to use in their classrooms from the first day back. They will be better prepared to help students become independent thinkers, confident problem-solvers and adaptable citizens ready for the challenges of the 21st century. The course fits Erasmus+ KA1 mobility projects (KA121 and KA122) for school and VET staff.
