Digital tools can turn a traditional lesson into an interactive, visual and creative experience, but with so many apps and platforms available, it is hard to know where to start and which ones are really worth the time. This digital tools course gives you a complete, practical toolkit for the digital classroom, combining artificial intelligence with some of the most popular and easy-to-use tools in education: Canva, Genially, Padlet and interactive quiz platforms. It is designed for primary, secondary and vocational classrooms, and no advanced digital skills are needed.
Over five days, you will learn how to choose the right tool for each learning goal and use technology in a meaningful way, not just as decoration. You will create attractive presentations, infographics, worksheets and posters with Canva, design interactive content, games and escape rooms with Genially, and set up collaborative walls with Padlet where students can share ideas, work and feedback. You will also use quiz and polling tools to check understanding and make lessons more dynamic. Finally, you will discover how AI can help you plan lessons, create materials, adapt activities to different levels and give feedback faster, always with a responsible and critical approach. Every session is hands-on, so you will leave with real materials you can use straight away.
By the end of the week, you will have designed a complete digital lesson or unit combining several tools and created a plan to bring digital and creative learning into your teaching.
